Utilizing existing mature methanol supply systems, natural gas pipelines, photovoltaic power generation, CNG and LNG refueling stations, etc., to establish new or expand hydrogen production and hydrogenation integrated stations. By producing hydrogen and hydrogenating on-site, the need for hydrogen transportation is reduced, thereby lowering the costs of hydrogen production, storage, and transportation. Integrated production and hydrogenation stations offer the best pathway to reduce hydrogen prices at refueling stations' outlets, enabling the transition from commercial demonstration to profitable commercial operation for refueling stations.


Based on the availability of hydrogen production resources at the construction site of refueling stations, hydrogen meeting the standards for fuel cell use is produced on-site. The hydrogen product is compressed to 20 MPa for primary storage, then pressurized to 45 MPa or 90 MPa before being dispensed into fuel cell vehicles by hydrogen dispensers. Simultaneously, long tube trailers are filled at the primary storage to provide hydrogen to other refueling stations, particularly suitable for establishing hydrogen production and hydrogenation integrated mother stations in suburban areas and hydrogenation sub-stations in urban centers, forming a comprehensive network of hydrogenation stations within a region.


Integrated production and hydrogenation stations are particularly suitable for heavy-duty trucks at mining sites, logistics vehicles at logistics parks, and tourist routes.
